She walks along the dirt lane listening to the stillness in the air. A sound so quiet that you can’t hide in its existence. The sun burns down and the heat is suffocating, much like her memories of him. She wants to push them away but today won’t allow her to forget and she wonders where he is and why time stole him away from her.
The void consumes her and in doing so crushes any resolve she had to accept the emptiness that fate left in her heart. She starts running into the stifling day, chasing after the despair in her soul. Her whole being cries out, but the harder she runs the more distant he feels, and she collapses into the reality of her loneliness.
